Cybersecurity of industrial production facilities

Technical morning on the cybersecurity of IoT networks
The NIS 2 directive concerns the security of networks and information systems, and aims to strengthen the level of cybersecurity of economic and administrative players in EU member countries. It concerns more than 10,000 entities in 18 sectors of activity. For the most part, these entities will be local authorities, administrations, as well as medium-sized and large businesses.
Against this backdrop, the ETN Group and Electro-Vosges organized a technical morning to raise awareness and provide explanations on the topics of industrial cybersecurity, industrial IT hygiene, convergence between IT and OT networks, and aspects covered by the NIS 2 directive.

Technology watch, information, training and application of cybersecurity principles
Our 3 automation engineers took part in this day-long event to keep abreast of technological and regulatory developments in these areas, aimed at strengthening the cybersecurity of industrial infrastructures and networks. It was an opportunity for them to be made aware, informed and supported in the design and implementation of future machine network architectures and their interconnection with our end customers’ infrastructures.
In fact, one of our current projects already incorporates these concepts for the connection of machines to IT/ OT networks, in particular to guarantee cyber security during remote access, for example.
Many thanks to ETN for this initiative!
